After nearly months of rumor and some leaked images on the net, Now Dell officially unveiled its new range of laptop Inspiron Mini 9. The new light weight Inspiron laptop is basically a “netbook” which is designed mainly to surf the Web, chatting, creating blogs, downloading and uploading personal videos and images, mp3 or any other format of music and you can play online games.
The new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is only available on http://www.dell.com in the selected countries only.
The weight of new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbook is less than 2.5 lbs. Very eye-catching in design. The new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 netbook comes with 8.9 inch LCD display with LED back light, Wi-Fi and blue tooth connectivity, solid state drive (SSD) memory storage and inbuilt webcam.
Dell also planning to make the new Mini 9 even more smart netbook by giving the facility to store or manage data online by teaming up with Box.net. Box.net offers web based data access, storage files and folde to new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 users, offer a free two GB of remote storage space so that you can store data on the remote server nad access it when ever you require, expandable to 25GB. The new Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9 netbook will include a web link to a Dell home page for the netbook user on Box.net, giving user a easy option to store or manage their online data stored on Box.net.
The new Dell mini 9 is available in two colors options “Obsidian Black” or “Alpine White” and also giving the otion to the customer to choose either Windows XP or Ubuntu 8.04 with convention Dell interface. The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 with the operating system Windows XP Home is available and starting range at $399. The other version of Dell Mini 9 Ubuntu Linux (not available now) will start at $349.
