Price less than $400 generally mean netbook, rather than laptop. This laptop comes with a AMD Athlon processor and only one GB of Random Access Memory with 14.1 inch display, the Acer eMD620-5777 is worth a look.

The new Acer eMD620 laptop is very basic in design, including the black matte cover, ribbed plastic above the laptop’s keyboard, and the touchpad is surrounded with a thin silver frame. Measuring 13.0x 9.8×1.2–1.6 inches and 5.3 pounds.

The 14.1-inch shiny display with 1280×800 pixel resolution; is quite bright and produces sharp images quality. A 0.3 megapixel webcam is present just above the display screen. The speakers are located on the front edge, produce good sound. The new Acer eMD620 has just 2 USB, VGA, Ethernet slot, and headphone and mic jacks. This laptop is just like the smaller sister to the Acer 8930G comes with Intel Core2 Duo, Nvidia graphic and Blu-ray. With a price tag of $999, this is okay laptop for who want a comparatively light weight desktop substitute that is not so pricey.

Attractive Design

The design is some where very similar to it previous range 8930G, the 6930G sports, this is an smart mix of texture, light up keys, and shiny finishes. The black cover of the 15.7×11.5×1.7 inch laptop’s look spiky and the silver company logo with white back lighting. The weighs of the laptop is1.8 pounds less than its own Acer 8930G.

Upon opening the cover of this laptop, a full size shiny black keyboard has a good feel and the textured palm rest. On one side of the laptop 2 USB 2.0 ports, Blu-ray, modem slot, and Kensington lock. Port for the power adapter, Ethernet, Display Port, VGA, 2 USB 2.0, HDMI, Express Card/54 slot, head phone and mic jacks are available on the left side of the laptop. At $999 the laptop is very pocket friendly and provides an excellent multimedia experience and integrated with Blu-ray technology.

Build and Design
