Design
The new ASUS laptop is brightly colored orange and black just looks like a gaming laptop, but its 15.4 inches screen is quite smaller than the other 19 inch gaming laptop. The laptop keyboard is little large, and a small numeric keypad is on the right side of the laptop. The touchpad and keyboard buttons offers great response.
4 touch buttons just above the keyboard for over clocking and customizing the messages another is for Windows Media Center in Vista and the third button for power performance profiles and the last to touchpad on and off.
Display and Audio
ASUS G50V’s 15.4 inches, 1680×1050 high definition display screen, colors lookes sharp and the picture quality is very bright. A 3.1 inches OLED just above the keyboard to display the available memory, CPU task and the system resources or display the custom message. A e-mail indicator icon is also present in this laptop, if you are using Microsoft Outlook.
The laptop came with a DVD burner and a Blu-ray. The G50V Laptop also has an eSATA port, a HDMI port for video to an HDTV. The ASUS G50V laptop has 2 Altec Lansing speakers. Surfing the Web, listening music, and make Skype calls ExpressGate do all for you.
